Swim Fit Gear is an Australian Owned and family run business.
With over 40 years combined experience in retail management and visual mechanising we have experience in high volume retail stores which included Managing Children toys, accessories, Men's and women's apparel and electronics and music.
We had the privilege of being taught how to swim as children, both to survive and have fun. This meant we could enjoy pools, the beach and the local river.
To then later in life be able to pass on this same tradition to our children in all levels of lessons and competition. We enjoyed being a swimming family so much so, the Director of Swim Fit Gear is also a qualified Swimming instructor who has taught all levels of swimming from Babies to Adults and specialising in Disability access and Inclusion programs.
This led to seeing the problem that cheap and limited swimwear and accessory ranges in Australia didn't often last for the parents or the swimmers. As affordability constantly being limited to what's available at the pool or in large chain retail stores with poor quality. This has led to popular copyright swimwear of their most popular tv shows and cartoon hero's being readily imported with inferior fabrics for Australia's harsh water. On the flipside Australia has made some famous and great swimwear and surf wear ranges that are popular and recognisable household names however not always affordable or available to the average shopper .
It has taken over 5 years to test and find good quality, yet affordable ranges that are safe for the harsh chlorinated pool water and the hammering the swimmers give to the swimwear and accessories.
Our goal is to offer a range that is quality affordable and trending products that will last and serve the best purpose. Swimming with goggles that don't fog, Swimwear that fits and being comfortable down the beach while being sun smart. Thats the Australian Dream.
It's no secret Australia is an island that is surrounded by beautiful beaches, fast flowing rivers and Gold Medal producing Olyimpic level Swimming pools. With just over 3 million Australian homes having a swimming pool in their back yard. Water is all around us. We experience some of the Hottest summer temperatures.
